Kim Sargent launched his career as a professional photographer in 1977 and has earned a place among the country’s leading architectural photographers. He remains passionate in his belief that good photography comes as much from the heart and soul as from the hand and eye.
His images have appeared in numerous design publications including Art & Antiques, Architectural Digest, Veranda, Interior Design, Florida Design, Metropolitan Home, Florida Architecture and The Sunday New York Times Magazine. He collaborated with John Loring on the book Tiffany’s Palm Beach and also with noted architect Jeffery Smith on Palm Beach Splendor.
Kim’s work has taken him to many destinations. Not one to rest on his past accomplishments, he has embraced the digital world. His knowledge and understanding of light and space has enabled him to capture the exquisite detail that is now the identifiable signature of his photographic art. At the DCOTA 2008 WINTERMARKET, Kim was awarded the “Stars of Design” award for photography.
